Yes. If we really want to be creative, the top 2 or 3 programs in each


conference should drop out of their respective leagues and start a national heavyweights conference. The money for its members would be through the roof.

Nebraska

Auburn
Notre Dame
Washington
Georgia
(and maybe add the BBall bluebloods UNC, UK, KU, IU, UCLA)

and then decided to cut everyone else loose. I imagine the tone of a lot of the realignment discourse would change pretty quickly.
